hey this story is going in the monthly mission report called "The Way" just thought I would send it to ya- love,
From me-Elder Brown
One beautiful day in Mo-town, Elder Howard and Elder Brown were following up with a potential investigator in an apartment complex but could not find the correct address. We knocked into a real nice guy named Denarius and told him we'd like to share a message with him. So he invited us in and we taught him about the restoration. He had a lot of unanswered questions that we were able to answer. He invited us back and we continued to visit with him. We soon found that he had three children and a super nice girlfriend. As we continued to see them, we took different members over there each time to get them acquainted with the ward. They started to progress very well, but the ol' Devil didn't allow them to sail smoothly. Over a period of weeks, they were preparing to be baptized, but due to them not being married it was delayed. Denarius and Natosha wanted to be married and the Bishop gladly volunteered to help with that. A few days prior to getting their marriage license, Denarius' wallet with the money to buy the license was stolen and also Natosha's work place had been broken into that same night. Elder Brown and Elder Shelton immediately called some members of the ward to begin to pray specifically for the Williams family. Then, a miracle happened, they received an early paycheck and were able to now buy the marriage license. Bishop Nesmith married them that night in the church. One week later, Denarius, Joe, Donyea, and Trinady entered the waters of baptism. Due to some word of wisdom issues, Natosha was set to be baptized the following week. She was then baptized by her newly ordained husband, Denarius. The family is going strong and has their eye set on the temple to be sealed as a family for eternity.
